Smart meters = tax grab

From London Free Press

Calling smart meters a “tax grab,” Hudak suggested their mandatory status would be a thing of the past if he’s elected premier this fall.

“These time-of-use, mandatory smart meters are nothing more than another tax grab on the hydro bill,” Hudak said, flanked by veteran Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman and high-profile London Fanshawe candidate Cheryl Miller.

“A Progressive Conservative government would unplug the mandatory smart meters and give families a choice that works for them.”
